Matthew is the owner of A DJ Connection.  As a young man he lived in Birmingham AL, Memphis TN, Attended High School in Charlotte NC, Attended and graduated from Tidewater College in Chesapeake VA. and then moved to and has lived in Pensacola FL since 1989.   He is an author, designer, singer and songwriter.  He has over 24 years of experience as an, emcee, DJ, sound tech, lighting program and designer, video production and editing technician.  He and his concert sound company has provided sound reinforcement, stage lighting and video productions for Tim McGraw, Tracy Byrd, The Drifters, Larry Stewart, Exile, Marcia Ball, Don Dokken, Little Richard, 69 Boyz, Tag Team, Ying Yang Twins. Locally he has worked with ARC, ECUA, E.S.P., City of Pensacola, Pensacola Police, Escambia County Schools, Pensacola Springfest, Sertomas 4th of July, First Night Pensacola, First Night Mobile and a variety of venues along the Gulf Coast of FL, AL and MS.  He has security clearance to work on any school grounds. He has performed at over one thousand weddings, hundreds of class reunions, birthday parties, school dances, company Christmas parties, family and military reunions, Bar mitzvahs, Bat mitzvahs, military functions of all sizes and just about any reason for music,  He works only when a "Gold" or better DJ package is chosen for he believes a 2 person team makes for a much better and more interactive entertainment value. We could not have imagined our wedding reception going any better! We have heard nothing from our friends and family but how much fun they had!
